Installation is scheduled

Design, permits, and scheduling are all handled by Energywell. Onceapproved, installation typically takes a few hours. Installation scheduling is dependent on state permitting. Installationmay take up to 12 weeks in certain jurisdictions.

Inspection and utility sign-off

Your local authority inspects the installation. Once complete, the utility grants permission to operate.

ELIGIBILITY

Is your home a fit?

The Energywell program is designed for homeowners in eligible service areas. Here's what's generally required to qualify: You own a single-family home and have your name on the utility bill. Your home doesn't have an existing battery system or solar installation. You meet the credit score threshold for your market. In Texas, AutoPay and paperless billing are required.If your home doesn't qualify for the battery program, nothing changes—your existing Think Energy service continues as normal.

Energywell installs the EcoFlow OCEAN Pro battery system—a globally recognized platform and TIME Magazine's 2025 Best Invention.

Each unit holds 10 kWh of capacity, with two batteries standard in Texas (20 kWh total) and up to four available in Illinois (up to 40 kWh). The system includes a 24 kW inverter, an 8-circuit smart panel, and a direct generator connection—all installed at no cost to you.
