Each month, we analyze your personalized rates from Think Energy's compared to your utility's Price to Compare. When Think Energy can offer you a lower price, we’ll switch your account to Think Energy supply. When the utility is lower, we’ll keep you with the utility. You're guaranteed to never pay more than the utility's Price to Compare.
How much can I save?
Savings vary based on your usage patterns and market conditions—we can't promise a specific dollar amount. What we can promise is that you'll never pay more than your utility's standard rate.
What if Think Energy can't beat my utility's rate?
You stay on the utility's rate—that's the point. When you’re enrolled with AutoSave, we won’t switch your account, unless we know we can save you money vs. your utility. And we keep checking every month, so if conditions change, you'll benefit automatically.
What if I end up paying more than the utility's Price to Compare?
In rare cases—such as delayed switches or retroactive utility rate updates—you may temporarily pay more than the utility's Price to Compare. If that happens, Think Energy will refund the difference, either as a bill credit or a check if you're no longer a customer.
Do I still pay my utility?
Yes. Nothing changes about your billing setup. You still pay your utility the same way you always have. When Think Energy is your supplier, they'll appear on your utility bill—but you pay the utility directly, just like always.
Will I be notified when my supply changes?
Yes. You'll get an email any time your supply switches—to Think Energy or back to the utility. This might happen monthly, seasonally, or less often depending on market conditions. No action needed on your end.
How do I know who's supplying my electricity right now?
Check your utility bill. If Think Energy is listed as your supplier, we're currently providing your electricity. Keep in mind your bill reflects past activity—it shows the previous billing period, not necessarily the current one.
Do I need to sign up again?
No. Enroll once and AutoSave handles everything from there. Set it and forget it!
What if I move?
Contact Think Energy's customer care team at 1-844-976-5005 or Care@ThinkHomeSolutions.com to cancel AutoSave at your current address. You may be eligible to re-enroll at your new address if it's in a supported market.
Can commercial customers enroll?
Yes—small commercial accounts using under 100,000 kWh per year are eligible to enroll in AutoSave. Commercial customers are not eligible for the smart thermostat guaranteed savings program.

Are there any fees?
No. AutoSave is free to join and free to leave, anytime.
Will I know my rate in advance?
AutoSave rates vary month to month and aren't disclosed ahead of time. You're always protected though—if you ever pay more than the utility's Price to Compare, we'll refund the difference.
How is Think+ able to offer benefits through AutoSave?
Think+ is a licensed broker in the markets we serve, and when you enroll with AutoSave you're giving us agency to act on your behalf when it comes to switching your energy supply. This allows us to manage your account behind the scenes and act as any smart customer would. We partner with Think Energy because they are able to offer our customers personalized rates because on their unique usage history.
